The Fifty-Two – 002

The very first Atkin T type guitar! For us it had to have that classic butterscotch black guard aesthetic. The overall look with the lacquer checking, subtle dings, lacquered pickguard and aged hardware just screams vintage vibe, yet to play it feels delightfully modern. The thin C neck profile, high narrow frets, 10” fingerboard radius and unrestricted access to the 22nd fret adds up to an extremely playable instrument. The lightweight reclaimed pine body makes it super comfortable in a performance setting. As with our first S type guitar 002 features some non-standard spec to geek out over. Including metric sized marker dots, a slimmer 41.5mm body depth and Alnico ii plain enamel pickups.
