There’s a lot to catch the eye here, from the matching headstock to the hand beveled tortoise shell pickguard, which has an aluminium shielding plate behind it to add a golden metallic hue as well as reducing unwanted noise. The P90 in the neck position is slightly underwound to complement the bridge pickup and delivers jazzy warmth along with glorious distorted rock tones. The hum cancelling middle position is a real winner here!
